Every dollar spent by government equals more than a dollar stolen from productive citizens. Every job “created” by government spending is more than a job destroyed in the private sector. Every supposed benefit from government spending comes with an even greater offsetting detriment to taxpayers. Apart from the protection of individual rights accomplished by police, military, and courts, government spending equals destruction of wealth and productivity - every time, in every place, in any context, for any purpose.

Prosperity can only arise as the summation of voluntary individual achievement, a tenet which Pelosi and her ilk stand in diametric opposition to. Don’t trust a single word uttered by this Marxist hag.

I am thoroughly disgusted with your vote in favor of the health care bill.

The lives and health of Americans depend on freedom in medicine. We need politicians willing to see that government controls, regulations, and welfare are the source of today’s high-cost, bureaucratic medicine — and brave enough to advocate for repeal.

Instead, we have you and your pork-loving, vote-buying, economic-illiterate, moral-degenerate, freedom-destroying colleagues in the Senate.

Shame on you. You all deserve to be voted out of office as soon as possible.

When government-run “competitors” are funded by tax revenues, and immune to the same economics and regulations that the freer-market is subject to, the real competition is eliminated.

Phase two is much worse.

The remaining “only option” is a dysfunctional charade of entrenched mediocrity immune to the requirement of customer satisfaction - essentially like our “only option” public schools. Except that in the case of health care, financial negligence, social engineering, lowering standards, and stifling innovation (all hallmarks of socialized endeavors) will cause more immediate loss of life instead of the living death imposed by socialized education.

Becoming a parent brought focus to many new perspectives of my view of man, life, love and human joy. So many common misconceptions about the human mind, learning, knowledge and human nature are revealed as wholly fallacious when you witness first-first hand a child’s transition from the clean-slate of infancy to an individual driven by an insatiable quest to understand and master the world around him.

The expression which I find most endearing, and symbolic of man’s purpose, is that of my son grasping knowledge. The passage below eloquently identifies that expression as well as its significance in a much wider context.

It is precisely that spark of light that is misunderstood, neglected, and under assault from every cultural front today. That spark is what life is all about. That spark keeps a man alive. Man can benefit tremendously from human relationships, but his core existence is driven from and towards that spark. Meaningful relationships, i.e., ones based on explicitly identified common values, are only possible as derivative manifestations of that spark.

Not only have those who evade, ignore or are oblivious to “the look” missed what I consider the most valuable thread of life, they’re also the ones leading the assault, either directly or by ignorant default, against man, against man’s mind, against joy, against life.

It’s those who, never knowing the spark or all that it leads to, resort to force when dealing with others - uncivilized misfits stuck in a civilized society.

When men hold differing opinions, effective communication of rational ideas is a civilized form of persuasion, whereas an anonymous late-night call threatening my 8-month pregnant wife that her husband should “watch what he writes on the internet” is not.

History illustrates it is precisely those individuals who resort to the latter that have always endeavored to destroy those embodied by the former - and despite centuries of human progress, it’s obvious there are still those who’ve failed to rise above a barbarians view of existence.

For me to abandon usage of the only proper tool of persuasion available to a civilized man - rational communication - would constitute a betrayal of my principles, a surrender my values, and a failure to protect myself and my loved ones from cultural (and inevitably physical) assault.

Given our present course, there will likely be a time where brute force will suppress opposing ideals; and when that time comes, if keeping my views to myself might enable our escape then I’ll do so - but as long as there’s still a chance to escape that desperate reality; I’ll continue to foster the spark in man, I’ll continue to speak, I’ll continue to clown ignorance and those who enable it, I’ll stand by every word, and I’ll defend myself and my family by any means necessary.

Obama’s racist/marxist Green Jobs thug seemed to fit the administration’s statist mold in all but one aspect - he’s too honest. Recognizing the potential for Jones to undermine their dictatorial yearnings by being a a bit too open about his ideals, the Obama administration decided he should go.

Too bad - the last thing we need is more statist politicians in office who effectively conceal their destructive wishes for America. I wish more bureaucrats would explicitly verbalize their ideals - perhaps that would arouse more serious dialogue amongst our intellectually lethargic culture.

If nothing else, at least Van Jones is honest and doesn’t betray his ideals on stage - for that I applaud him.

Here’s my official self-flagging notification for the thugs in Washington.

I’m officially flagging myself as one of those radical Capitalists spreading “fishy” information regarding the socialization of American medicine.

I am, in fact, adamantly opposed on both moral and practical grounds to any and all measures that socialize the field of medicine, or any segment of our economy for that matter. I have, and will continue to, thoroughly, coherently and boldly express my opposition to as many individuals as I can effectively reach.

I am neither a partisan hack, nor an insurance lobbyist. I’m just an honest, productive individual who understands the founding principles of America and loves life, my family and the use of my mind - all of which stand to suffer greatly considering the path down which America is headed.

In the moral context, socialization blatantly contradicts the principle of individual rights on which America was founded. The rights to life, liberty, property and the pursuit of one’s happiness are incompatible with a system designed to operate on the confiscated wealth, compulsory participation, and involuntary servitude of productive individuals – all in the name of an allegiance to a supposed common good.

The notion of self-sacrifice to the collective is repulsive and irrational. It is a mental illness that served as the philosophical fuel for the bloodiest dictatorships in the history of man. Adding Americans to its list of over 100 million victims in the last century will be an accomplishment unmatched in history. No other country originated with ideals so contrary to those that are now strangling the American spirit. Driving America into utter ruin will indeed be its greatest victory.

In the practical sense, socialization can render a single logical result - stagnant misery. History illustrates that our standard of living increases when humans are left free to think, act and retain the profit from doing so. The human mind, in its natural and appropriate state, yearns for knowledge and achievement, both of which also have tremendous practical value in terms of mans survival. In a specialized economy, man can earn a profit from ideas and productivity. When man is left free to profit from and find joyous fulfillment in his thought, action and productivity – our standard of living benefits.

Socializing medicine negates both of these human needs. It stifles the profit motive by distorting the economics of the market by encroaching on the property rights of drug manufacturers, regulating rates and salaries, and legally eliminating consumption of health services outside of the socialized system in order to control costs. It stifles the freedom to think and act by forcing physicians and patients to abandon their judgment in favor of bureaucratic procedures and conformity to the artificial economics of the system.

In time, services will deteriorate, innovation will stagnate, prices will escalate and every single member forced to use it will suffer. There is no possible way this system will work. It is morally and economically unviable. You should accept this fact now and grant yourself extra time to fabricate palatable excuses.

I do realize that flagging myself may invite a myriad of “unfortunate” circumstances. I know that financial auditing, harassment, abduction, incarceration and elimination are all standard fare for dictatorships, but when compared to the thought of not voicing my opinion while the lives of my children expire in your dream Socialist-cesspool, any of the above seem quite preferable.

Che’ Hollywood is at it again.

Supporting his apparent penchant for late-night television, Obama charms the masses in a spoof interview segment.

NBC was clearly thrilled to have enough access to President Obama to base a two-part, prime-time special on it all this week (Part II runs Wednesday night.)

Mr. Obama, however, went even one step further for the network – participating in a spoof interview segment for “The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien” during his formal question-and-answer session with the NBC News anchor Brian Williams at the White House.

In the segment, shown on “Tonight” late Tuesday, Mr. Williams asked Mr. Obama whether he almost canceled his overseas trip this week “to stay and watch” Mr. O’Brien’s “first week as host of ‘The Tonight Show.’’’

Mr. Obama was fully game and, referring to Mr. O’Brien’s succession this week of the former “Tonight” host Jay Leno, joked, “This is something we discussed several times in the Oval Office, how to manage this transition between Leno and Conan. And I think he’s up to the task. But I just want him to know that there is not going to any bailout coming out from Washington if he screws it up.”

How cute. So cunning that our leader discerns such an opportunity where, by making light of an unprecedented feat of ludicrous economic tyranny that will destroy wealth and joy for generations, he can boost his pop-culture appeal and diffuse the angst of the masses.

As Ellsworth Toohey prescribed:

“Kill by laughter. Laughter is an instrument of human joy. Learn to use it as a weapon of destruction. Turn it into a sneer. It’s simple. Tell them to laugh at virtue. Don’t let anything remain sacred in a man’s soul — and his soul won’t be sacred to him. Kill reverence and you’ve killed the hero in man.”

In a sickening attempt to memorialize one tragedy, a more profoundly reproachful one is carried out in the name of justice.

“We always prefer to get that land from a willing seller. And sometimes you can just not come to an agreement on certain things,” park service spokesman Phil Sheridan said. [emphasis mine]

What concern are one man’s rights in the face of the USSA?

Of all the contemptible evils being carried out by our leaders, eminent domain is perhaps the most blatantly vicious. I can hardly imagine a more despicable and inadequate manner of offering a supposed tribute to a horrible event.

If I had lost a friend or loved-one on 9/11, this would undoubtedly add insult to injury. A monument built on theft is very unbecoming in the context of solemnity.
